Having had the honour of planning, coordinating and designing over weddings over the past 10 years in the Toronto and Thunder Bay areas, Maid For The Bride can confidently take the guesswork out of your hands. We specialize in "fusion" weddings, meaning we love to bring together different cultures, families and traditions to best reflect the couple and their relationship.

We are versatile and have worked on weddings of all scales, from small intimate weddings of only 10 people, up to 1000 person weddings and everything in between. We have extensive experience with a wide variety of budgets, customs, traditions and communities.

Maid For The Bride owner Shalini Misir is a certified wedding planner with The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC). She also studied event planning at Humber College. Her interest in planning really started while she was studying at McMaster University, when she as asked to create themes and execute birthday parties, graduations, and engagement celebrations. This blossomed into weddings and showers, as well as corporate events. She now focused on weddings but brings a lot of other experience to the table.
