St. Louis Blues defenceman Robert Bortuzzo became the first alumnus of the Superior International Junior Hockey League to win a Stanley Cup after his side defeated the Boston Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 of the final! Bortuzzo played his Jr. A hockey in his hometown of Thunder Bay with the local North Stars organization!

While the 2018-19 campaign in the Superior International Junior Hockey League has come to a close on the ice, players from across the SIJHL continue to make commitments to continue their careers at the college and university levels either in Canada or the United States.
